I read this through before realising you'd posted in your author's note that it was just the prologue -- I'm glad it is, because this is a pretty fantastic build-up and it ended a bit abruptly where it did. Still, I can't wait to read the rest of this when you post it! I was fascinated to see the two groups interacting, and I like what you've shown us of their back stories.
