IM CRYING
i literally sobbed throughout the entire thing
i hate you for breaking me but i love u bc it truly was brilliant
their relationship really got to me, how they work despite their differences and circumstances
how the thought of losing all those memories just breaks kyungsoo one by one
how he holds on to that last bit of chanyeol, whether it be a shirt button, loose strings or even a sock from their first meeting
i really loved that they got a second chance, that at least their familiarity is still there and there's hope that maybe this time, they won't give up.

Excuse me while I cry over this. It was just so sad with how Kyungsoo was holding on to almost every little thing that reminds him of Chanyeol, and then slowly, bit by bit, each memory of Chanyeol just slowly disappears into nothing. They made their relationship work (or at least, tried to) but in the end, they had to part ways. I liked how in the end, you implied that they got a second chance and maybe this time, things will be better with a clean slate, literally start over again. Not everyone gets chances like those and no one has the luck of erasing the pain of a lost love #bitter. This makes me want to wish them all the best and wonder what happens? Will they remember everything from before or not? Will they have the same ending? /sigh

gosh this is so not good im in such a bad state crying slobbering flailing and in all angles i look like i need the mental asylum.

this fic was so good. ripped my heart and threw it into the ocean. im not even familiar with this au but this was sososo beautiful i feel attacked. i wish i had lessons in my english textbook like these.....

despite the unparallelled beauty of this entire fic, i'll tell u my most favourite line:

“Yeah,” Kyungsoo says, “Yeah, it is.”

just beautiful, hopeful, everything i wanted.
