Summary: He's been steadfastly avoiding Jimin and responding to his texts only when he has to because internally, Taehyung is still freaking out on some level. You don't just discover you have feelings for your best friend slash person who you hold hands with and kiss on a weekly basis and not freak out. So, Taehyung continues doing what he does best: avoiding the problem.
(Taehyung and Jimin aren't boyfriends. Sure, they go on dates, kiss sometimes, and hold hands but they haven't put a label on it yet. )
He just needs time to sort this out and it'll all blow over. Maybe he can move to the Japanese countryside and become a strawberry farmer. He's always wanted to do that.

just a few notes for the beginning: taehyung and jimin are kind of in a queerplatonic relationship, which, according to wikipedia is: a relationship that is not romantic but involves a close emotional connection (platonic) beyond what most people consider friendship. the commitment level in a queerplatonic relationship is often considered to be similar to that of a romantic relationship.
