Moving and succumbing
Only a couple more things to complete before I buy my first apartment. I'm excited. Well, I'm still a little annoyed, or a lot annoyed, mostly at the other broker cause she keeps changing things. Little nitpicky things mostly pertaining to the condo submission. In the ream of papers I was originally given, I filled out and wrote checks for all the things that were marked as being due at submission, thinking at the items marked for closing, were to be handed in, I don't know, at the closing. She also decided that she needed originals, some extra information, and a certified check for some of the expenses. To make matters worse, and really, highly annoying, was that instead of mentioning this before the contract was signed, or even all at once, she's been trickling in with these demands piecemeal over the course of the last three weeks. Well, I think it's all settled. I should get my approval from the condo board on Monday or Tuesday, then it's just finalizing the closing date. it was originally June 30th, but the seller wants to move it up, so I might be the owner of a spanking old condo by next week.
The succumbing. I've finally read Harry Potter. It was suprisingly enjoyable. Since Corwin has been bugging me, well him and others, but his nagging was the final push, especially when he kept talking about pairings for fanfiction. Well, after my week to read the six book, I checked out the fanfiction scene. It's amusing, to say the least. I'm been sticking, so far, with stories that speculate on after the HBP, which have been ranging from complete crap to decent attempts.
I'm definitely in the Harry/Ginny support crew. After reading the novels, I just don't see Harry with Hermione and that gay stuff is just rubbish, geez. I think women want to think guys are gay because they want there men to be women because they themselves are actually closet lesbians thinking that if Guys were more womanish, then they could be with a woman and tell themselves they are straight.
Also, sorry, but that Hermione/Draco stuff is just worse than the Harry/Hermione stuff. I think Harry would go for Luna before Hermione. And the Ron/Draco stuff is just to die laughing from.
Well, wish me luck with the house, I hate moving, but I'll be so happy to get out of my currentl place.
