hope
hope is kind of a weird thing. it's the one thing that stops you from letting go of all the pain that you put yourself through because you wanna believe that there's still a chance of something amazing happening. sometimes there isn't, and sometimes you NEED to let go. hope stops that. for some people, for some cases, keeping hope is what gets people where they need and want to be, but for others, hope keeps them in this seemingly unending pit of pain because what's out of sight isn't always out of mind. i love hope - i need hope, otherwise i'd give up on everything; but lately, i need to let go and i can't. pandora's box put me in this state, and i can't get out. i want you and i can't give up.
