Чили (Сантьяго) - сильное землетрясение магнитудой 7.2 и глубиной 2 км

Землетрясение произошло в 14:39:43 (UTC) (см. EMSC и USGS) неподалеку от столицы (Сантьяго) c последующими aftershock'ами у берегов материка магнитудой 6.9, глубина - 10 км (14:55:30) и 5.7/6.0 (32/40км) - на материке. Также поступило предупреждение о цунами в PTWC.
Землетрясение произошло за несколько часов до инаугурации нового главы государства Себастьяна Пинеры.
