I am home for the weekend.

And watched Casino Royale and Little Miss Sunshine. The former I first saw a week ago and it was BAD ASS, please go see it. Do yourself that favor. The latter I saw back in September in theaters and now for the first time saw it again. It made me cry. The hell!!

Have decided that my male is a keeper. Before I left on Wednesday, he showed up in my room with a package (hardy har har) wrapped in newspaper. I opened it after he left.

It's a journal. It looks sort of like this, except darker and cooler, with less yellow and more red. It's fantastic. I'm half afraid to write in it, it's so pretty. Later when I called to thank him, he said, "I thought you could use it to write some of your stories in."

To which I began to melt inside but promptly proceeded to drop the phone as I tripped over a pile of laundry. Fantastic.

In other notes, while college has not yet left me as chunky as I would have originally assumed, it hasn't left me completely unscathed. I've put on a little weight. Nothing to fret about, but I have decided that the next month I will be rigorous in my eating habits. It's my goal to be able to get into my graduation dress and still feel comfortable with it by May 4.

May 4, because that is the day we are going, as a collective, to the midnight premier of Spider-man 3. Last Sunday my gang and I dressed up for mass along with the rest of the campus, and I mean really dressed up. We ladies wore skirts, nice shirts; the guys wore suits. SUITS. God damn. But we decided that we needed to have more occasions to become randomly fancy. The premier of Spider-man 3 seems like the perfect way to go about it. So, I'm thinking about wearing my little graduation dress. Just thinking, mind you, but that's the plan, to at least be *able* to wear it.

I should have more to say.

But let the record show that Daniel Craig is the Best Bond Evar. Sorry, Mr. Connery. Really, I am.
