Best academic week ever.
I GOT MY FIRST COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE LETTER.
This is what the first line sed:
"DEAR KATHERINE,
CONGRATULATIONS AND WELCOME TO THE XAVIER FAMILY."
Xavier loves me. Oh my God. I'm SO GOING TO XAVIER. I hope. I really really hope. The P.S. was also very exciting: "PS: BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SOME EXCITING NEWS FROM OUR SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE."
I am so excited. Since like September, some of the girls in my grade have been getting acceptance letters. And now I've finally got one. To the college of my choice. FUCK. YEAH.
In other academic news, THIS WEEK KICKED ASS, projects aside. First, I missed only four-- COUNT THEM, THAT IS F-O-U-R FOUR-- points on my economics test, our of like 80. Or maybe it was 89, I can't remember. But either way, I got the highest grade in the class. In. The. Class. What a payoff. I studied so fucking hard for that test.
And then spiceonice and I apparently got, like. The highest grades in the class on the Pre Calc test. This week rocked. Next week won't, because of exams. But at least Martin Luther King was kind enough to give us Monday off. Civil rights pioneers rock.
