So I just finished watching Catwoman. Yes, I actually gave that movie the time of day.
It wasn't quite as bad as I expected it to be, which is probably why I don't hate it. But what the HELL is up with that costume? Crime fighting is NOT best done in an outfit that is about to fall the fuck apart. And that does not protect one's skin from the whip that gets tossed around in bad CGI sequences.
Sharon Stone was pretty awesome as the bitch, and The Merovingian was perfect as her husband, and Barry's best friend was pretty cute.
I'd also forgotten that Halle's actually really pretty when she's not dressed as storm.
Basically, my problems with the movie amounted to this:
1. Costuming-- the costume she had at the beginning was hot and practical! Did the dry cleaner fuck it up?
2. Dialogue-- WEAK.
and
3. Oh, right, the whole CATWOMAN'S REAL NAME ISN'T PATIENCE PHILLIPS deal. But at least they completely changed the story instead of kind of sort of tweaking it.
Oh, and Benjamin Bratt is still. Hotttt.
