Name: Moro
Gender: Female
Age: Not stated; assumed/implied to be hundreds of years old
Fandom: Princess Mononoke
Time period: Before the Forest Spirit took her life.
Pokemon: Arcanine
Distinguishing Characteristics: Very aged and pale fur color. Two tails, like
in canon. Possibly slightly bigger than the average arcanine.
Explanation: Almost entirely physical reasoning; in her normal body, Moro is humongous, swift, and packed with raw power. She doesn't have a real ability with supernatural abilities beyond her sentience, ability to speak, and the reanimation of her detached head. Arcanine is a heavy-hitter with incredibly brute strength and speed, and as a dog-like creature it has enough of a body resemblance to her usual form, meaning she would be able to get comfortable with it. And of all the dog pokemon, it bears the strongest physical resemblance to Moro, as well as being very mighty and impressive.
History:
Wiki page for the moviePersonality:
A mysterious, proud and intelligent wolf. She shows unbelievable wisdom, which comes from her age and role as a forest god. But underlying her wisdom and experience is a deep, everlasting hatred for humans. As a warrior, her hatred is channeled by only one action - killing. She will maintain, steadfast, a resentment for the entire species of humans for the actions of one group of them, fully intending to kill every last one of them This hate and anger is a trait of the gods of her world, but Moro has a unique handle of it - unlike the boar gods, which are prone to going insane with their fury and turning into demons, Moro is able to either set aside her hatred in order to do what she knows is the correct thing to do, or to conserve her strength and wait for a better opportunity, as any predator knows how to do. For example, she had been patiently waiting for Eboshi to appear before her so she could use the last of her strength to kill her, but she instead used her final moments to rescue her daughter from a frenzying demon Okkoto. Though she can be hateful, she's also a very gentle and regal god when her hatred is absent. She shows love for her pups, including (and especially) her adopted human daughter, San. Sadly, given her circumstances, she's been reduced to a bitter, betrayed, angry god, who relishes in causing harm and suffering to humans as they have to her. She is very stubborn and extremely set in her ways, and is not swayed easily by opposing opinions of any nature.

First Person: (Note: This is assuming all of the things she would normally not be familiar with would be explained to her and somewhat contextualized for her to properly answer.)
1) You discover a secret passage in a basement. What do you do?
If no scents lie within, it may not be worth investigating. If the smell of prey is within, or the stench of a human, then I would venture in and prepare for a kill.
2) Have you ever wanted to communicate with aliens from another planet?
I have little interest in anything not belonging to my forest. If it threatens the forest, I will kill it.
3) Would you feel comfortable stating your opinion to a very important person?
I have never felt uncomfortable stating my opinion. Or enforcing it.
4) Do you like to do things according to plan?
Humans waste far too much time with their plans and exercises of 'cleverness'.
5) Do you think that lies are sometimes necessary?
Only break the rules if you are willing and ready to suffer the consequences. This goes especially for going against a promise.
Third Person: Sleep was hard to accomplish, despite how exhausted she was, as the wound in her chest was just painful enough to keep her from sleeping usually. She never saw the badge, or really felt it, but when she fell asleep, she felt the strange dream. Answered questions that were strange and did not make sense, but that she answered anyway. Something was changing, and it wouldn't be until she woke up that she would see what it was.
When she did wake, it was the scents that were the most drastic change. Soon following that, there was something off about the weight of her body, and the feel of the breeze on her fur was different. She opened her eyes and lifted her head, feeling more energy and awareness. The lethargy was gone, now, and it seemed something strange had transpired - her body had changed. As she stood, her joints felt just as old as before, and there was a dull ache in her chest, but both pains were so minimal that she was left wondering what had happened to her.
Since she had the energy to move, she decided to explore the new territory, taking in the scents and the sounds as intently as she could. She started to pass constructs that reminded her a bit too much of humans, but she didn't smell a single one. Soon, Moro encountered the first of the resident creatures. Coldly, she asked for an explanation of where she was, and after receiving a brief explanation of where she was, she stalked off, trying to find any trace of a human scent. She passed a sign, vaguely recognizing it for what it was, and after glancing at it for images, she found that she could read what was on it. Growling, she snorted at the sign, leaving it be to resume her exploration of the area.
