The results for the design competition I entered (mentioned in my March 2 post) are in and I was a runner-up in my category. No prize, as far as I know, but that's OK. I was going up against companies, so I don't feel too bad. Probably ought to figure out some way to squeeze it onto my resume (*hint hint*). Maybe I'll get a certificate out of it?
My friend also was a runner-up in his category. Considering both of us had to register as "self-employed," I think we did quite well.

I met a real-life Dory over the weekend, someone that keeps repeating the same questions because she couldn't remember my responses. It was a bit surreal, but she meant well (and was in her 80's). Physically, she was in excellent shape and seemed to have great long-term memory. I hope to do as well when I'm her age...
