it's been awhile...
so it's definitely been quite awhile since i updated...sorry about that! i decided that the 30 minutes my white strips need would be a convenient time to update. meredith pate - i hope this will successfully keep you entertained for a few minutes :)
lots of new news....homecoming date...teehee :) - that's right folks, steven kollehner! needless to say, i'm a bit excited!! other news regarding steven as well, but i guess you will have to talk to me in person to find that one out! or call me. i do this so i feel as though i have lots of friends...hah
college night was tonight! it was interesting...i talked to csm, auburn, umr, ut, lsu and a couple other fine schools. i found out that auburn has a co-op program with (drumroll, please..) DISNEY WORLD!! well, the walt disney company to be more exact. i quote from the official disney website, "Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates. Representing more than 150 disciplines, its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels.." ...sigh. the guy from umr was very nice also. so umr, marietta, csm, and auburn are my top 4 right now. i plan on visiting most of them sometime soon. it'll probably change next week, but oh well! yay for college!!
chem test this morning did not go well. >>note to self: sit in a regular desk next time.<< i had to sit at the counter where the computers are...in a high chair! it was rediculous!! my knees were at the same height as my test!! well, as you all know, i am very adhd and when my test is a good 3 feet away from me & not in my immediate range of sight...my mind tends to wander. NOT GOOD!! i could have made a 100, but oh no - i spent a good 20-25 minutes staring around the room!! it's so frustrating! what's that section 504 or something somewhere....?! well it says that they have to accomodate my disability...isn't it silly how adhd is a disability?!?! i was a little offended when they made me mark it on my concurrent thing...but i've come to laugh at it. yay :)
so the astros have beaten the braves twice now! that's so exciting! yay for the astros. i should have skipped school and gone to the party at minute maid on monday, that would have been neat. free hot dogs & coke....very tempting.
i'm taking my SAT saturday...that's a little scary - this is the real thing!! my goal is to make above a 1340. i really want to make a 14-something, but i will probably end up taking it again to get that. lauren and adam are coming with me to take it...they are going to bring pillows and a portable dvd player and chill until i am done. and then....we are going shopping!! slash hanging out in our favorite place - uptown houston!
i got my homecoming dress. it rocks, if i do say so myself.
did anyone else know that eckerd is becoming cvs? audra told me that today. weird, but cool i guess.
i'm glad tomorrow is thursday! the only thing i don't like about thursday is english. i hate english!! it's so boring and pointless and....dumb!! but i get to go to pre-cal first and that's ever so exciting! steven and alex have ti-89 titaniums...to be quite honest, i'm a little jealous. but i suppose bonaparte is content with his ti-84+ silver edition status...
lately i have had a huge case of the giggles!! i feel like such a little girl again :)
