i was just thinking...more than anything right now, i want a jon schuler hug. i miss that kid. he's not really a kid. but yay for college...not really. but yay for all those college kids having fun.

today i played with that thing that tells your parents your grades online. i think my new pet peeve will probably be teachers that don't update their grades often enough. seriously, do your freaking job! too bad i will use that more than my parents ever will.

i'm in the process of talking my dad into getting spinning rims on his escalade...honestly, that comes pretty close to my ti-84+ silver edition in coolness factor. it might even surpass the wonders my calculator holds. i think my dad would have serious bragging rights then.

the one thing i would give up a jon schuler hug for is a trip to disney world. i LOVE disney world!! my dad keeps telling me maybe. maybe my butt. we all know i'm a spoiled daddy's girl. i even researched hotel costs and whatnot! right now my top pick is the port orleans french quarter. it's right in the downtown disney area...aka very close to ghiradelli's sundae parlor place. mmmmmmm :) if we stayed at port orleans french quarter, we would be surrounded in mardi gras decor and have a jogging trail, fishing, horse drawn excursions, an in-room safe, 2 double beds, laundry facilities, an iron/ironing board, a make up mirror, and hair dryer all at our disposal. not to mention the disney channel and espn for our viewing pleasure! i'm sure we could utilize those facilities when not basking in the magicalness of mr. walt (my hero). iiiiii looooooove disneyworld!!!! ahhhhhhhh i want it so bad!!!!!!
not to mention, i'm still waiting to get my picture made with belle. hmph!

ooooh another fun adventure happened last night/ this morning! so for lauren rath's birthday, chelsey, shauna, rachel, catherine, jackie, jo, lauren, and myself went downtown and spent the night at the westin. between our marvelous dinner and delicious breakfast, we had quite the adventure. after putting on our swimsuits and the deciding not to go swimming...we wandered around only to discover the la porte high school class of 1984 20th reunion on the 24th floor and 'layne's top gun' bar mitzvah on the third floor. after surveying the surroundings, we decided the bar mitzvah was too heavily securitized to attempt sneaking in and decided it would be easier to crash a party full of 38 year-old drunks. and crash a party full of 38 year old drunks we certainly did do. with great poise and dignity, i might add. catherine, rachel and i struck up a conversation with someone in the hall and continued it all the way into the room..hah. that's right, just waltz in like we own the joint. we told some people we were the guy's kids. some other people we were the guy's students. some other people we actually graduated with them. hey, whatever works. lauren and chelsey were right on our heels, until they delved into conversation with someone still standing relatively straight. so catherine, rachel, and i grab each other and bee-line to the dance floor, where we attempt to bring the party back to life. chels and laur join us shortly thereafter. i would say we did a pretty damn good job, a couple of crazies came and danced with us and long about the time we asked the dj to take our picture, they started to kick us out (go figure.)...so apparently we ended up with a picture of us getting kicked out. haha - that was a lot of fun. we also ran around the galleria playing sardines/ hide & seek. i found a dead fish in the tank and told the security guard. he told me i had to wear shoes and then that we had to go back to the room. who does he think he is...honestly?! it was overall and amazing experience. thanks to lauren rath who opened the door of oppurtunity and thanks to everyone else who was there and made it what is was.

so now, i think i will start my physics.
and pre-cal.
and chemistry.
and english.

pray that i take my pills tomorrow, or i will be in quite a condition when you see me tomorrow!

p.s. my calculator wasn't really lost! it was in my bag the whole time!!! what a relief. imagine losing your best friend...
