The waiting is the hardest part
So, we should be finding out today if we're moving. They said "end of the week." Although, in my experience, that doesn't neccesarily mean the end of this week. I don't think what Ken is asking for is unreasonable... we looked on a couple of cost-of-living calculators and on Careerbuilder to see what he ought to make out there and it's around what he was going to ask for anyway, so if they were just going to try to fob him off with a $2 raise, no way.
They did tell him yesterday that regardless if the transfer comes through, that he'll still be going out there for a week or so. Now it's not only to train the new people, but to like inspect their equipment or something.
Oh well, we'll see what happens.
