Im a big kid now
So Ive been up here for a week now, and Im quite content. My cat (in reference to the dog) is slightly less happy, but shes adjusting well I think. Not quite the magical menagerie, but whatever. I've been chatting with friends and hanging with Dannielle a lot, and it's been fun.
Nikki came up yesterday because she and Dannielle had a student teaching meeting to go to today. It was nice seeing her again.
Tomorrow is Dannielle's birthday. We're celebrating by moving my stuff out of the dorm room and then shes taking me to see a movie with my favorite actor in it. Im not sure she realizes the concept of "her" birthday. haha.
Classes start Monday. Im kind of ok with that. I hate the education classes of course, but at least one of them is with Jane. Erika's in Shakespeare, so we can slack off together. As for history of Rock....well, we'll just have to see how that goes.
The real big news is next weekend. My friend Matt's coming up from Cape Cod. I havent seen him since 3rd grade (unless you count via webcam, of course). We were best buddies, and I was quite upset when he left at the end of that year. Even more so because it was my first year in a new school and new town and I was losing one of the few people I knew. But, next weekend should be fun, at least I hope I can entertain him enough for a weekend.
Oh well. Back to my movie, and perhaps some knitting and maybe, just maybe, some writing. Alden want sme to write more of him, I can feel it. Its just a matter of whose willpower wins out. ;)
