Well well well, this weekend actually turned out to be great. Except for the lack of sleep, I had a blast. Friday night was spent at a wedding with Jen and her cousins Winter and Peggy. We all had a good time. It took Jen 3 drinks to find something she wanted, and I always was finishing the ones that she didn't have. She loved the Amaretto Stone Sour, and she had 5 during the course of the night. She was really close to being drunk, but she was still somewhat with the program. I danced more that night than I ever have danced in my life. The DJ started playing the song "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain and I sang it to my sweetheart. Winter said "Aww he's SINGING to her! And he sounds good too! Why can't you have any older brothers like you?" I felt good that whole night. Then, I went to work at 9 on Saturday morning, however, my boss was under the impression that I came in at 7, so he let me leave at 3:30. The ass was supposed to have let me have the day off, but he didn't. I got off of work and went home, showered, then went to ANOTHER wedding. Someone that I was distantly related to was getting married in LaPorte. I don't hardly know this girl, but hell I was still down for having a good time! It was pretty fun. I tried to drink, but the girl serving drinks wanted to card me. I wanted 2 Diet Coke's and one beer, and I tried to play it cool and said that the drink was supposed to be for my dad. She still wouldn't serve me, so that sucked. Then, I had 2 of my little 11 year old 2nd cousins following me around the whole night because they thought I was cute. It was okay I guess. I also found out that my dad's married (with a child) cousin asked him if I was his son, and she said I looked "damn good" so that was kinda flattering. Then we left there at like 10:30 and went home so I could go to sleep at 12:30 and wake up at 5 AM to leave for THE BRICKYARD! Luckily, we ended up finding people to take all of the extra tickets that we had. I think we had 5 extra tickets to get rid of. My friend Ron, his dad, and their friend Ed took 3 of the tickets, and my aunt and uncle drove up from southern Indiana and used the other 2 tickets. I sweated MY ASS OFF!!!!!! My shirt was getting wet from the sweat. I took it off only to watch the sweat roll down my arms. I did come out with one hell of a tan though. The race was good, except for the fact that the bastard Robby Gordon spun Dale Jr. out on a restart and he was then out for the race. It sucked. Came home afterwards then spent time with Jen a bit before I am heading to bed. All in all, it was a great weekend. Now I have 14 straight days of work to look forward to. I might also be going to Las Vegas in September. Ron and his family invited me to go with them. That could be fun! I also found out that I am going to Charlotte, NC next May. The NASCAR All Star Race is in May, and my dad's cousin lives down there. My dad's cousin's husband is the Car Boss for Brian Vickers, and we are going to be able to walk around the garages and look and touch stuff. Might even meet some drivers! I can NOT wait for that. Well, I think this is by far my longest entry ever, so I am going to cut it short. Have a good rest of the summer everyone!
