What a day...what a day...The day of "The Bird Incident"
So this morning, Betsy, and her 10 year old little sister Amy, and I went downtown. We had a blast. We went to the 3 story Target (BEST STORE EVAR!!), and then Bets showed us around UIC, which was really cool. It's like a gazillion times bigger than Butler, I'd get soo lost. But then again, EVERY school is bigger than Butler, prolly even H-F! While we were walking around UIC, we had what we now call, "The Bird Incident". We happen to pass under a tree, and a bird shit on Amy's head. Poor girl. She was a trooper about it! Had a minor freak out, but we went into a bathroom and washed her head, and she was okay. She was really afraid it would happen again, so I told her I'd pay her $100 if it happened again while we were downtown. (THANK GOD IT DIDN'T, CUZ I DEFINATELY DON'T HAVE THAT!) Luckily later on she was even able to laugh about it. Anyways, then Betsy then took my L virginity (much like how I took her Top-Gun virginity). It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. Why I thought I would encounter scary people, I dunno...but it was fun. We shopped downtown at Old Navy and Borders, and then went and had dinner at Giordanos. It was yummy. We were laughing sooo hard at dinner, Betsy spit pop out of her nose, I spit food (luckily, into my napkin), and Amy was convulsing in giggles. I think people in the restaurant were scared of us. It is at this dinner, I realized that Betsy and I have VERY dirty minds, and take innocent things a 10 year old says and makes them naughty. We're baaaaaad.
All in all, it was a pretty fun day. Then I had to come home to more roommate drama...I swear to god, with everything that has gone on this summer, I'm going insane. I start to forget about it, and it gets brought up, and I get really fucking depressed again. I just wish things hadn't turned out the way they did. She used to be my absolute best friend, and I thought she would be someone I would be friends with forever, and I know that won't happen. She's dug herself into a hole entirely too deep, partially thanks to Nick, and she needs serious help. I hope she gets it. And then turns her fucking life around and pays me the thousands of dollars she owes me. I'll see her ass in fucking court.
Tomorrow night, my brother's girlfriend is spending the night, and she and I are going out tomorrow. Kari and the bro are closing on their house Friday morning, so she's staying over so she doesn't have a 2 hour drive early in the morning. I can't wait, it should be fun. She and I have never spent quality time together without family around. I already love her to death, and hell, she's my future sister-in-law, so I wanna get to know her much better!
