Singing with Hitsugaya went better than I thought! He thinks I sing well. There was the one time that he stopped playing... but it was okay in the end ( Read more... )

Did you think it was going to wind up being a disaster?

And we can try different songs. Do you like a certain genre best?

They usually don't have lyrics to them, so that's a problem.
How about your preferences?

You wrote the lyrics of the last song?

It doesn't matter as long as it's enjoyable.

No. I'm not much of a lyricist actually. It was something I found in the local shops, along with the sheet music.

Hm. Can you play any instrument?

It's something Hitsugaya can improve at. Have you wanted to go into music for long?

Hmm... not unless you count a leaf whistle.

Not really. I enjoy music, but I have duties to fulfill in Soul Society. There's no time to pursue anything.

You know how to use one? [pretty impressed actually ;)]

Soul Society? It's where you're a captain, right?

Have you tried it? It's an instrument you can pick up almost anywhere, because leaves are easier to find and are free.

Yeah, that's the place. Captains don't have time to fool around.

But you must blow a certain way right? Otherwise a really weird sound comes out.

Is it a secret organization? The name is unusual... unless it's related to soul food? I've heard of that before.

Yeah, and you need to know how to choose your leaves. Some people make the leaves into a whistle shape, too. You have tried before, haven't you?

No, not related to food. It's where the souls of the deceased go, for their afterlife.

Unfortunately I've never done it before.

That makes you a protector of souls! There are the weak need to be protected in a place like that?

We can try it sometime. I could teach you!

You could say that. There are Hollows, the evil souls, that prey on human souls, and turn them into other Hollows. We have to maintain the balance between the pure and evil ones.

Whenever you're free then.

That's like something out of a movie! People can do something like that? You must be one of the people with a lot of spirit or demon energy.

I'll see when I can get out of tutoring.
