Doll folks: I need some help
Not picking out a doll. I'm broke. :D
I have the old Dragon 1/6th scale Claire Redfield doll/figure. Problem is, her one boot is WAY too small, and it's doing some serious damage to her foot. I'm looking for some place that would sell a pair of brown ankle boots in her size like what she wears in Code Veronica/Code Veronica X. I put a slice in the offending boot and have tried to stretch it as much as I could to help, but I'm really not happy with how it was constructed.
She is not a ball jointed doll. She is flexible with a wire armature underneath -- like some of the gymnast/dancer Barbies that were out in the 90s. I need boots that would be able to slip on her feet.
Alternately, if anyone knows someone that can do quality custom orders at a decent price (seriously, I don't want to spend as much as I would on a pair of my own boots), I'd be interested in looking into it.
