Ponies!

Yeah, skip this entry if you don't want to hear me babbling about ponies. ;P

So I snagged three MOC ponies on eBay a week ago (thanks to blackjedii for even pointing me at an auction that caused me to get curious if something else was up). Starlight and Melody are in great shape--small crack in the plastic bubble on Melody's card. Both of them I have

I'd probably just take her out and clean her up if she's not really mint anymore. ^^

And here's where I say that my earlier prediction of "Resistance is futile; you will be assimilated" was true. :P I've been wanting to go dig in the boxes in the garage to find my other ponies since Sugar Sweet cleaned up so well. ^_^;; But I think that'll wait until I get more space cleared in my room for now...

Eheheee!! Just don't go overboard like I did? ^^;; Oh, and box of...erm...stuff headed your way shortly. I tested the video on the AC AVI, but since my sister's speakers aren't plugged in (and I couldn't find the plug), I didn't test the sound. I hope it works at least until you get the US release. ^^;;

I don't think I have to worry too much about going overboard at the moment. :D Honestly, I can't remember how many ponies I had when I was younger, and I'm not planning on buying anymore right now. Only ones I vaguely remember is one with rainbow colored hair that had umbrellas as her symbol, think they were sorta glittery too...and a purple-pink one that had purple hair with tinsel in it, and I think her symbol was a metal (plastic) crown with a stone. And I know I had a small blue pony with red hair that used to have wings, because she had the little button on her back, but the wings had broken off. ^^;;

Eee, yay! Considering the US release has been delayed -yet again-, I'll be happy to just have the movie. ^^; *kicks SE and Sony*

And on a completely random note? I got the socks and armwarmer for Yuffie today...armwarmer is a bit too short, but workable. The socks are perfect though, and really comfortable, and they come up more than high enough.

The ponies will eat you, though! :D Sounds like Parasol, Princess Dawn, and...uh, I think her name's Tropical Breeze--flutter pony with a flamingo on her butt. (Scary thing? I didn't look at any sites for that.)

Well, it's on its way to you. Watch the whole way through the credits, btw. ;)

They'll be competing with the Barbies then. ^_~ Seriously, when I was cleaning my closet, I was running into MIB Barbies that I couldn't remember getting...and the pile is about thigh high on me...and I think it's three boxes 'wide'. And yeah, that sounds like the flutter pony I'm thinking of. I'm actually rather surprised by how nicely Sugar Sweet cleaned up considering how old she is and the fact that I used to play with her all the time. ^^ There's a few faint marks on her body, her head is slightly lighter than her body, and the very ends of her mane are kinda frizzy...but otherwise she looks really good. And I managed to get her hair back into the curls after I washed it.

I'm...working on that part. Which reminds me, I was trying to figure if I should try to get there the night before the con or the day of? ^^;;

-Nothing- competes with the ponies in this house, and that includes the computer equipment. ^^;; And I've found they usually clean up very well, and in most cases very easily even though it can be a lengthy process to do it right. (The only reason I hate cleaning ponies is that I do it in batches of ten to fifteen ponies...at least. Takes hours and my back gets irritated at me for it.)

That's up to you. I was planning on getting there Friday, but I can change the reservations if you guys (well, you and i2ufusshinra, as far as I know) would rather be there Thursday night. Same with Sunday. I'm pretty flexible about it, just need to know what I'm asking off work for. ^_^

I just have way too many Barbies. ^^ There's the pile of MIB in the closet, along with about two to three dozen that I used to play with and accessories in there too...and then there's about two moving boxes full of -more- MIB Barbies out in the garage, and yet another box full of the ones I used to play with out there. I can pretty safely say I have several hundred Barbies around here.

Friday should be fine, I think. I haven't started looking at prices for plane tickets yet, because I'm still not exactly sure which airport I'd need to fly into...but I think the earlier flights are usually a bit cheaper. I'd have to check though. Sunday, I think I'd aim for a flight that leaves mid to late afternoon or early evening. I'm actually more worried about getting to the airport on time on Sunday than I'd be about getting from the airport to the hotel. ^^
