The animation got better. It seems like they actually spent time studying football players. The beginning really reminded me of what I remember from captain tsubasa from the 80s. lol. except they don't have endless replays of the same shot.
I kind of see these parallels between giant killing and tenipuri.
Murakoshi -> Tezuka (lol okiayu I love you)
Tatsumi -> Nanjirou (they even talk similar!)
Kuroda -> Momo (you need one of this type in every sports series)
Gino -> Atobe (narcissistic extravagant type. enough said)
Goto -> Inoue (YA RLY)
Nagata -> Shiba (just so similar...)
Mochida -> Jiroh (easily excitable and similar play style)
I really like Dori~ I don't know why he gives me Kabaji vibes. 8D
