Huh. I got out of bed to deal with this...?
All right. Anyone who wants to know the story behind this (and see my bad side), please sit in on this lecture. Let's call it: "Why Ray And Mat Didn't Get Cookies."
Let's go over this section by section, shall we?
PART I: Why Lauren Didn't Give Ray & Mat Cookies
Point A: I made the cookies. They were my Christmas presents to the guys. Arshen had nothing to do with the cookies other than driving me to their houses.
Point B: Although Ray and Mat are sometimes thought of/included as "the guys," I'd like to point out that I've never met Ray and Mat really doesn't like me.
Point C: Proof that Mat doesn't like me? Continuous attitude for one. And, for the other, he DID say that he thought I was a bitch (as Arshen mentioned above). Don't remember, Mat? Here's what you said: "I haven't even met you and already you seem like a bitch." ( http://www.livejournal.com/users/keiconquest/28226.html ) And all I was trying to do was be nice. *sigh*
Point D: Ray doesn't seem like he likes me either. Or at least doesn't like Arshen talking about me. This can be seen in this quote: "His mush talks make me either wanna laugh, or puke. (Or both.) What a joke." ( http://www.livejournal.com/users/kingburning01/830.html?mode=reply ). Not to mention the whole concept of "Why would I give cookies to someone I never met?"
Point E: My parents bought me the ingredients (because I was strapped for cash) and they've never met any of you!!
Point F: Shortly after my anemia got the better of me and I was stuck in bed. I couldn't have made more cookies if I wanted to. I didn't even make cookies for my friends! Even the day when Arshen and I passed out the cookies I didn't even bother getting dressed or putting on make-up. Ask Ramiro or Steve or any of the other guys: I was in my pajamas and looked horrible.

PART II: Why Arshen Probably Wouldn't Have Given Ray & Mat Cookies If He Had Been The One To Make Them (note: this is my opinion, so don't whine to him about it if you don't like it).
Point A: What have you done for him lately?
Point B: Actually...I think "Point A" pretty much says all there needs to be said. I could say more, but I don't want to lower myself anymore than I am already by even acknowledging this stupidity with an explanation.
PART III: Why The People Who Got Cookies Were Deemed Worthy.
Point A: They're all nice guys (quirks and all) and they seem to like me too. Or, if they don't, at least they're decent enough not to say so.
Point B: They're all good friends to Arshen. That's important to me.
Point C: Here's a more "in depth" explanation for each person...
Chris & Chas -- I'll admit that sometimes they're a bit loud for my taste and I don't always get their humour, but they are good guys. They've never done wrong by me or by Arshen. Plus, they helped me out with my coronal polish exam. That was pretty darn neat of them. Plus, how could I not like someone who loves corn nuggets as much as I do? Not to mention that they're always there for Arshen (my boyfriend that I love so dearly) and that racks up a lot of points in my book too.
Steve -- Was a pretty cool guy until he lost his mind. I honestly don't know what's going on with him at this moment, but at the time we were giving out cookies I thought that he could use a little cheering up. And he likes to eat. It seemed like a good combination. Plus, up until somewhat recently, he had been a cheerful person to talk to and he, too, helped me with my exam. He was also one of Arshen's "car buddies" and we all know how important cars are to Arshen...
Ben -- How can anyone possibly find anything bad to say about Ben? Ben is awesome! Ben is the whole reason Arshen and I even KNOW each other. Not to mention Ben went to my school and is friends with my friends. Ben is always there to lend a helping hand (like when he helped me with Arshen's birthday present) and, if all else fails, Ben is the first to say "let's go get something to eat!" Anyone that peaceful is sure to appreciate sitting in a corner munching on homemade cookies.
Sevan -- He's, like, Arshen's best friend. I don't know him that well, but in the few times we've gotten together he's always been very kind. And pretty funny. Plus, since he IS Arshen's best friend, it's nice to know that there's someone around to take care of Arshen when I'm not able to. I had to thank him for that.
Ramiro -- This is probably the part where I'm going to get burned or whatever. *shrugs* I know that I hadn't met Ramiro in person before that night, but his case is a little different. I talk to him all the time. Sort of how I talked to Arshen for years before meeting him. Did I consider Arshen "not my friend" because we hadn't met in person? Of course not. Same thing with Ramiro. Weird as it sounds, Ramiro's one of the best friends I have. Mainly in that he actually understands/knows about all the "useless trivia" I'm spouting out all the time. And anyone who can do THAT is just plain cool (as I'm sure Ramiro will agree to). Even though we hadn't met, his talking to me when I needed it most was worth its weight in gold, or, in this case: cookies.

PART IV: An Apology
I know there are probably some more of Arshen's friends reading this than the ones I mentioned. For example:
Alex -- Another guy that I hadn't met (or at least thought I hadn't until we actually met and it turned out we knew each other from school. lol). He deserves cookies, too, of course, but I didn't know him/talk to him. Next year for sure. :)
El -- I was told he lived on the moon. That it would've been too far to drive all the way to see him and still make it to see the other guys that I knew better. If it makes any difference, when I did end up seeing him that night (out of an odd coincidence) I felt bad that I didn't have cookies for him. Next time I'll give Ben an extra bag to pass on to him since they seem to hang out pretty often.
My Friends (Who Are Also Arshen's Friends) -- You guys already know why you didn't get cookies. Thanks for sticking by me through all this.
Speaking of which, I'm going to go back to bed now. Hope this cleared some things up. In conclusion: I'm the bad guy, not Arshen.

I dont understand why you constantly think I hate Laruan. I called you a bitch in the post you linked because you were (I thought) rude. I also apologized to Arshen after that. If Arshen can even remember anything in his life he would probably vouch for me.
When I met you the for the first time I thought you were cool. Plus, you gave me that cd (it did had some cool songs in it).
I also made it clear that I was joking about the cookies. Hell, I can go out to the 7-11 and buy myself cookies. NOW, if you were giving out Gundams, then I'd be pissed.
Re: Secretly being Ignorant?You betcha.emage99January 18 2005, 12:47:37 UTC
I would also like to make another point...
If I were to hate everyone that called me bad name (i.e. bitch, fag, fucker, etc). Then I'd be a lonely person. See, I like to look at things in a non-serious way. I'm able to take insults and use them back to other people without hurting other people or myself. However, there are the sensitive types out there that cry about everything.
Note: This isn't me hating anyone. Just telling people to loosen up!
