Had dinner with XT & ZT at The Roti Prata House.
Though we did more hiking than having a proper dinner. Simply because my buttocks were itching
I met XT at Admiralty station first before we headed to AMK to wait for ZT.
XT and I were suuuuuuuuuper hungry at that time, so we bought some fried finger food while waiting for ZT's arrival.
We waited eons for bus 130 to arrive.
Then due to my own ignorance and overconfidence, we overshot miles away from our destination, which I wasn't even sure where XD;;;
I tend to not know shame when it comes to a situation like this. So I went up to the bus driver, acted like a goodie girl-next-door, and asked if he knew where we should alight to get to The Roti Prata House @ Upper Thomson Road.
After a few exclamations exchanged between the bus driver and I (lo and behold, the bus had already travelled to Balestier Road by then XDDDDDDDD), I was directed by him to board the same bus service from the opposite side of the road.
Another century had passed as we waited for bus 130 from the opposite side of the road to arrive.
To make things even worse, the bus driver this time just had to be a MEGA sulky middle-aged man. It's as if he had a permanent PMS.
Yap, a HE. Quite a common sight in Singapore, sadly.
We alighted right before "The Long House", with no idea where the hell we should go.
Hence, I surrender to the wuss that I always am and called my dad for help. XDDDDDDDD
He directed us to walk further down, towards Yishun.
You see, he would've been correct. Since I had asked for the direction to get to the "HANS at Upper Thomson Road".
I had the wrong impression The Roti Prata House is right beside that particular HANS. =\
THANK GOODNESS ZT WAS WITH US AT THAT TIME MAN! Hallelujah, my harem! *__*
She vividly remembered the location of the ACTUAL Roti Prata House, not the delusion that I had, and helped save the day as we went with her directions. ♥
It was a disappointment, AHAHAHAHAHA =X ← tries to laugh it off
Firstly, prata shops like these can never be cheap. Secondly, the food was a tad too oily for our liking.
A little piece of prata was sooooooooo insufficient at curbing my hunger but I was too tired and also didn't feel like paying for another expensive prata, so I just bore with the hunger until I got home.
For our trip back home, I again turned into a little wuss, a spoilt one at that, and called up my dad to pick us up.
Toto tagged along with my dad, of course. Man, what a good life he leads =_= ← Eh, hello! You're the one overpampering him!
It was dunno-how-many roads down the lane before I saw the delusion I had of The Roti Prata House.
In the end, the prata shop just beside HANS is called "The Prata Place" not Prata House.
And there were like, 4 prata shops on that same stretch of road? !@#$%^&()
It IS still Upper Thomson Road. But this road is long enough to lead all the way from Yishun to Braddell? It's not as long as Bukit Timah Road or Serangoon Road but it sure is long enough to confuse someone with lousy sense of direction
Yea yea, I know. That doesn't mean I'm not guilty of being ignorant and didn't check things properly.
ZT was exceptionally high on the way back home and did all sorts of funny things to TOTO. XDDD
They teased(?) TOTO throughout the journey. ZT even started singing the trademark CM song of MAGI instant noodles while molesting the poor canine. XD
XT was sent home first.
After ZT was dropped off, my dad commented that she'd surely cook some instand noodles when she reached home XD;
According to my dad, ZT wasn't high because she's tired, she's high because of hunger.
I told dad how disappointing the prata was and how I was still starving at that time.
He replied, "see lah, you butt itchy. ZT go home ah, surely cook noodle liao. She must've been really hungry to see Toto and its curly fur, and get hallucinations of hotdog and MAGI noodle."
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Doubt I'd be heading down for prata anytime soon but I'd just jot this down nonetheless XD;
