"That's what happens when you go to Hell, Dean. That's what it is. Forgetting."

Okay, update on life before I talk about my fandoms. So, nothing much as been going on. It finally snowed but it was only like one inch so total rip off. I was disappointed. Really disappointed. Today, I slept in. This has actually been a problem for me lately. I've been waking up at about 6 am every morning and I can't go back to sleep. This morning however I slept wonderfully. I didn't even hear when my sister came back in. It was nice. And this afternoon me and mom went to Sam's. That was fun. I usually like Sam's. So many great deals. Friday night, however, is not the time to go. People were everywhere and they were so rude. It was annoying. We did get a 8lb bag of pasta though. And a 25lb bag of sugar. Hehe. For some reason that makes me happy. After Sam's we went to get BBQ ribs and they were so good! I'll be having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut. YAY. It's starting to look really shaggy. I can't wait until it grows back out. I'm tired of short hair. Other exciting news is that I finally own all three seasons of Stargate Atlantis. I've had season one for a while. I got season three for Christmas. Now I have season two and I can finally watch all the episodes. I'm excited. Another reason I love Sam's is that they occasionally have DVD's on sale. As of right now all Stargate SG1 seasons (except ten) are on sale for $20. How awesome is that? Too bad I don't have the money. Oh well. I'll live. On to the fandoms.

Supernatural Review

Supernatural was new this week! Woo Hoo! It was a really good episode too. When it started I figured it was going to be a feature creature episode (a coven of witches in this episode) but it ended up being essential to the season's main plot arc. We find out more about Ruby. Most importantly that she used to be a witch who had sold her soul to a demon...meaning she was destined for Hell. I find this really cool mainly because Ruby used to be a human, albeit a witchy human, but now she's a demon. And she says that's what hell is. It's forgetting how to be human. The fires in the Pit (her allusion, not mine) eventually burn the person's humanity out of their soul and they become a demon who can possess people (if they ever get out of Hell that is). If that's not depressing enough she tells Dean that he's always been right...there is no way to save him from Hell. She had only told Sam that so that he would listen to her. Also, in this episode we finally get why puppy!Sam has disappeared. He understands they're at war and that he needs to be able to fight without Dean (just in case) so in order to do that he needs to become more like Dean. And this is also the reason Ruby gives to Dean about why she needed to talk to Sam.

So favorite serious quote(s):

Dean: Ruby? Why do you want us to win?
Ruby: Isn't it obvious? I'm not like them. I wish I was, but I'm not. I remember what it's like.
Dean: What what's like?
Ruby: Being human.

This episode was funny too though. Which is why I love this show. It's serious and heartbreaking and funny all at the same time. I'll just give you the quotes that made me laugh.

Dean: You saved my life.
Ruby: Don't mention it.
Dean: What was that stuff? It was like ass. It tasted like ass.
Ruby: It's witchcraft, short bus. (she leaves)
Dean: (mutters) You're short bus, short bus...

Dean: I hate witches. They're all spewing their body liquids everywhere. It's creepy. Hell, it's downright unhygienic!

Dean: Why's the rabbit always get screwed in the deal?

Oh, and on a sidenote Ruby/Dean is my new ship!

Fanfic Update
Again my Tin Man fic "There's No Place Like Home" is being written. And I plotted out every chapter for my Psych fic. And I have a name: "The Way Back". There's also a strong possibility that there will be a sequel. If I can ever get it written. Wish me luck!

So, my friend Gregimus sent me these links:

Hemidemisemiquaver and Hundred_twenty-eighth_note

The following conversation:

Me: How the hell do you play that?!?
Gregimus: With a deal with the devil
Me: I agree!
Gregimus: or on crack
Me: Or both
Gregimus: and only then... it might be possible
Me: maybe
Me: Like...freaking long shot maybe

End of conversation!

For the record I'm so glad that I never had a band director who made us play those notes. Granted we did have a band director who threw batons and chairs at us...and some years later tried to kill his superintendent (not a joke) but I guess there are different levels of crazy. Later!
