So, Sarah and I got into a fight today. Again. And just like every fight we've had the last few times it's been about the car. We can share it most of the time and be fine but sometimes it would be nice if I didn't have to wait on her to get home before I could go anywhere (and it would also be nice for her to tell me when she's going to be late after we've already agreed that I get the car for the night or whatever). I don't care to let her use my car but I'm so ready for hers to be fixed. Really wish Dad would get on with that.
Besides that though I'm in a great mood. I'm not really sure why because Mom was sick today and she was snappish and the whole sibling fight thing. Maybe it's because I read one of my favorite books last night. It's Song of the Beast by Carol Berg. The only book she's ever written that wasn't part of a series. I forgot how much I loved ready that book until I read it again last night. And when I mean last night I mean I started it at 10 pm yesterday and finished about 4:30 am this morning. That's how good it was. Even though I knew how it ended I just couldn't put it down. And books like that always make me happy. I'm going to start reading Carol Berg's other books too. I'm going to start with Son of Avonar and the other three books in the series. Then I"m going to read Flesh and Blood and then I'm going to buy Breath and Bone when it comes out. And that is my plan. I have this plan so that I'll stay sane over the Holidays.
Before I go I'm going to update you on my fanfics. I'm writing a Christmasy Eureka one-shot for a ficathon and then I've got two Stargate Atlantis ones that I want to finish. Both of them have been started I just haven't gotten around to finishing them yet. And then I've got a couple Supernatural fics I have plotted out and want to write. Plus there's the multi-chapter Now You See It... fic that I've been working on for about two years. I hope to finish it soon so I can start posting it.
