Yeah, I . . . don't post on my own LJ very much anymore. Sad. Very sad. Uh. SO ANYWAY, Amanda and I have been on a couple trips in the last year and saw some amazing things and I am finally getting around to posting my photos. And when I say "gigantic photo post", by the way, I really, really mean it. But you don't have to look at them all. I won't take it personally, I promise.

Last July, we went to Utah. Why? Because Utah has amazing places in it.

Red Canyon

Bryce Canyon National Park

Zion National Park

Duck Creek & The Road to Cedar Rapids

So then this year, we went to California. We've been to Yosemite before, but it was in the winter, and we didn't get a lot of time to spend there, so we decided to go there again! But first...

Bearizona

Bearizona is a drive-through wildlife park which was really much smaller and less impressive than I would have figured, but *did* have a lot of bears.

The Road to Yosemite

Check out the last picture in this batch - it's a rainbow that's not in the sky! It was projected into a valley, against the trees. The picture isn't great, since there was no place really to stop and take one, but you can still totally see it!

Yosemite

Man, you thought I took a billion pics of Yosemite last time? This set is even bigger, thanks to much nicer weather, more open roads, and a digital camera that actually has a memory chip. California and the Sierra Nevadas got record snowfall this year, so the waterfalls were amazing. I also went on a mule ride and saw an actual bear! Seriously, a wild bear, just chillin'.

Then we went to San Diego, because... we love San Diego! And this time we took a bunch of pictures there. =D We saw a lot of wildlife there - some lizards, plenty of birds, a pelican just perched on the pier, and an actual seal just swimming around in the ocean!

San Diego - downtown

Balboa Park - Arboretum

Balboa Park - Rose Gardens

Balboa Park - Japanese Friendship Garden

Balboa Park (general)

Cabrillo Point

Maritime Museum & Harbor Statues

San Diego (general)

And that's it! I hope you have enjoyed looking at these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them. ^_^

left my apartment for once, here there and everywhere, happy post is happy, triptastic
