Summer, finally!
Last day of school, yay! My room is all cleaned up, and my plans for the summer are gelling. I'm burnt out at the moment, but I'll rest and regenerate tomorrow, and then there's lots to do!
My advisor's offering me another, different TAship now, also with Chris Couch. Introduction to Science Fiction, this time. Eek! Well, the discussions I'd be leading start at 11:15, on Fridays. That means I'd have to leave Adams at 10am. It's probably not going to happen, but this time I asked the administrators if it were possible, for just the one day, to make have the college counselor do advisory with the seniors on that day so I could teach at UMass. We'll see what they say. I could really use the cheap health insurance that goes with being a TA, as well as the other, obvious goodness.
In other news, I've acquired a DS, and have been spending a lot of down time playing new Super Mario Brothers and reliving my Nintendo childhood. Whee!
