So, I have a headache that started on Tuesday.
It grew in intensity during my office hours until I had to vomit. So I went to class, started them on pairing up and workshopping drafts (which was the plan that day anyway), and started home. Driving an hour on a sunny day over back roads with a migraine sucks bad, I'm here to tell you.
I tried to rest my eyes. Really I did. But it's too BORING not being able to read and watch things. I didn't do too well.
Plus we ended up test-driving cars yesterday morning, because my regular commuting car is finally dying (grinding in the transmission), and it can't really wait until I have a job. Argh.
I feel like it's a combination of dehydration (but the humidifier in my bedroom is going now, and I'm drinking tons of water), allergies (my nasal passages are swollen, but I'm not really congested), and stress (natch.) Is this really a migraine, or just a really intense stress headache that's lasted two days?
Because it's still not gone. It's better. I'm not vomiting. But it's there. And it's across my forehead and into my ears.
I've not been prone to migraines, but there is family history (both of my mom's sisters get them, and started getting them when they became perimenopausal, I'm pretty sure.)
Any ideas?
