Some Christmas updates
Our Christmas was long, and still not over, as my mother's scheduled to come visit--originally today, but she seems to be suffering the same cold as the rest of humanity seems to be suffering at the moment. Especially me--I woke up with my nose sealed shut with crust this morning, and I'm quickly running out of tissues, cough drops, and tea. Anyway, Cassie went to DC instead of staying home waiting for Nana to come, and I'm able to rest and hopefully recuperate. We spent the weekend in Vermont with Jay's family, which was lovely but not terribly restful. Christmas itself was spent half here, half in Vermont with Jay's parents, as we were planning to have them hear for dinner, but still don't' have a working oven. The Appliance Doctor should be giving me a call and repairing that situation shortly, though.
I feel totally rambly and incoherent, and blame the mucus. Also, I will now resort to pics.

She likes the box of old dance costumes-as-dress-up, but just didn't want me taking a picture of her at that moment. Which is exactly why I HAD to, of course.
