I've had this reverse-eingineered ProCo Rat distortion pedal PCB (thanks to (www.tonepad.com) sitting around for month. Finally I'm gonna start to build it tomorrow. Gonna build some mods into it too. Fucking wicked.
In more DIY news, me and my bro are assembling some home theatre speakers. Got a design and everything. Parts are gonna be expensive (looking around a bit under a grand to build them) but they'll (read: should) perform as good as speakers 5 times the cost to build them. Fortunately I've made friends with the designer. Practically writes and essay for every question I ask him. And I've found some suppliers for some of the bits (tweeters, inductors) here in the country so I'm saving a couple o' hundred in shipping
