Lazily lying on the porch swing, I go back and forth in motion.
The evening’s breeze cools me from the summer warm and humid air.
Across the lawn, little yellow bugs nips the darken woods. Off and on they go, fire balls entertaining me.
Steadily I rock, remembering the summer.
Disappointed and dejected, I will not think these past three months.
Bugs of fire continue their happy ballet. I grin softly.
How I hated these passing days, but at evening’s dark it really doesn’t seem that bad.
I think too much of the long sun drenched days. Who would have thought these would be my last days.
It’s getting darker, the night is cooler.
I bid farewell to my little summer dancers.
Goodbye, season.
