SHSL Collection Update
Whoa...It's been a while since the last update. I decided to stop doing them because they consumed too much time, and i felt they were not relevant anymore. but I kind of miss them, and they were helpful to me to keep track of what i buy.
Sooo...let's sum up a little what it been up to these last months. (Its like 90% Dangan Ronpa anyway ahkfdfgs)
First we have the Dangan Ronpa chimi chara set. I was really doubting getting this set...i was just getting the second one because it included Mukujunko, Kirigiri and Celes....but then i discovered Mukuro was one of the secret figures. I NEEDED IT IN MY LIFE. So of course i bought it.
Naegikuma was the other secret xDD. Totally adorable.
Here is the complete set. I ended up falling for Naegi...so once again im glad i got the complete set. Gotta love the chibi proportions of these...gaaaaah!!! They nailed everyone...even Sakura who can be a bit hard to chibify the same way as the others, being all buff. But she is as adorable as eveyone else. I looked at them carefully and they are really well done, poses faces and everything. The fact that they make a full circle to imitate trials is also a nice touch.
But of course...for me the queen of this ball, the main reason for buying all the set was...
Mukuro of course!!
I fell in love instantly with little Mukuro since the moment i was her in Yahoo! Auctions. I was not expecting her to be the secret...they forget about her a lot xDD.
She is so small and perfect...and cute, and did i mention perfect??? Also, bonus Mukuma because OMFG. I head-swap things with everything that has a removable/interchangeable head. And awwww...mukuma looks so cute and boss <3 <3
Speaking of headwaps...
As i was saying...i love headswapping things. Some of them look really cool and some others just...lololol (WTF Hagakure xD). Once i get the rest of them, its going to be time for a massive headswap!!!
My brother and i make this guessing game when i get things that come randomly packaged. This time i got the 80% of them correct!! I couldn't believe it myself xD.
I can't wait for set nº 2!! (Which was supposed to be out by March, but got pushed until July. JULY!!! （；へ：) is it July yet??)
Moving on. I also got some Nicey Junko figures!!
The one in the right is the Algernon one i thought i would never get because it was super expensive. (12,000y ay chihuahua WHAT) I managed to nab it for like 7,500y. At the time i thought it was a bargain...but now i see it go for even 5,000. I don't get it its an awesome figure. The only thing that bothered me is that the hair colored turned out a looot darker than the one she had in the prototype. It was a big dissapointment, because most of the Junko Merch has the hair either too pink, or dark blonde...when its supposed to be strawberry blond. I wonder if there will ever be some merch with the accurate hair color?? Eye color can't fully convince me neitherThat blue shade gradient...no good. But!! There are plenty of cons!!! The sculpting is FAN-TAS-TIC!!! Its really detailed and nicely painted. I mean, look at dem legs!! Waifu material. Some people said that theirs came with paint details...but i couldn't notice anything like that in mine. Lips, nails and laces...everything is perfect. You can't see her very well here, bit i have a closer shoot of her here. (The photo kinda sucks too...whoops ha ha. I need a camera)
The other Junko is a lottery prize Junko. just like the last lottery, there were two versions of the figure: A version and Last chance version...and i didn't feel like throwing $20 more bucks for the secret version this time. I got last chance Kirigiri in the last DR lottery, because i was way too hyped about Noodlegiri...but honesly the A version of that one would have been enough for me. And i also would have liked to get crown Junko more than Noodlegiri but how was i supposed to know there would be a prize Junko in few months more?? I love my noodlegiri so it doesn't matter that much
Now to the figure itself. Of course that Algernon Junko completely dwarfs it. Literally and figuratively. Paintjob is not as nearly as detailed and the material is also more plastic-ish. I have trouble with mine because it bends backwards too much xD. I think the heels need to be longer, that would also prevent it from bending that much. Too bad that the price does not match quality due to being a lottery prize...if it was a normal figure, it would be a lot cheaper. Same with noodlegiri. But overall, its a nice figure i think. I like that pose, even with the bending
Also, one has dark blonde hair, and the other one has pink hair. Do you see my problem now??
These are from a super-deformed set released by TOMY. They were split in 2: A and B.
This ones gave me a headache because i bought a set to get Junko, but it never arrived at the FJ warehouse. Long story but i finally got my Junko along with a lot of others i was not planning to get xD. i think that the only ones im missing of both sets are Monokuma and normal Ishimaru.
I've said this before, but these are SUPER detailed. Its really amazing considering they are so small. (I'd say an inch each??). They have buttons, markings, accesories...tons of details. Some larger figures are a lot less detailed than these.
They are reaaaally different form the other super deformed figures, but each type has its own charm. (Except u Togami )
To finish with all the DR madness...tadaaaah!!!. Rubberstraps!! At first i was aining for just Mukuro and Junko (i say that all the time) but hell, Junko alone was really expenive...so i decided to go for the boxes instead since they had a re-relase. They were alreay sold out in most sites...and i didn't care that much. Again, my main goals were the twins, so i could get them later on. At the end i managed to get them. I really love that they have "volume" instad of being all flat like the other set. Ironically my favorite one its neither Junko or Mukuro...its...
Celes!! Look at her!!! She looks so good here!!
My only complain about these is that secret monokuma is completely BLAH. Seriously?? That was the best they could come up with??
I would have liked to see JIn Kirigiri, or at least Idol Maizono. Also fhe freckles in these rubberstraps are really marked...so mukuro has this Jason feel ; u ;

I loved loved LOVED this series. I fell for it since the first episode....and it became one of my all time favorites. At first it was hard to see where was the story going...but at the end gaaaaah!! I would have liked a different pacing for the story, cince almost nothing happens in the first episodes, and in the end everything feels rushed.
Back to the straps.
I had to order from Hobbystock since they were sold out in Amiami :c
I got the extra one...sure, but its someone i don't even like. AT ALL. (yes, im talking to you miroku). So i wonder if i can sell it??
Its overall a really cute set. Mirai and Akihito stole my heart...but Ai is also adorable...and the bothers....ghhhh. I also love the dynamic poses most of these have. But why they chose cat-ai to be the secret one?? It would have been awesome if they had done Yui instead *cries. But...kitty ai is cute too.
Last but not least...these Cuties. OMFG!!!
I started watching K-on! earlier this year because i had nothing better to watch...KNK was over...so yeah. AJKGDGDGG, Another instafavorite. Such a light-hearted slice of life comedy. It arrived to my life really late...that's what happens when you don't watch anime in a couple of years.
I got the nendos of all the girls earlier...and i came across these and i couldnt let them go. SOOO CUTEE!! (If you had a penny each time i've said "cute" in this entry...) Really small as well. Quarter for reference.
Each has a little instrument...but Mugi's pianois broken. My hart was broken too when i noticed, Mugi is my favorite. At first i looked around thinking it broke while shipped, but then i noticed it apparently it was like that in the listing. But it would gave been really hard ot tell...
Also pictured monokuma file, from a gashapon thing. I got it because its actually a tiny notebook. The pages even have designs on them OMFG. Didn't take any pictures because my phone would have ruined them anyway.
