(no subject)
I think this is the first time I've been able to just sit alll day! It's so nice! I have class in another hour though so yuck to that. My Tuesdays are crazy. I have Teaching Literacy at 8:30 then that lab from 9:30-11:30 where I go into a second grade classroom in pawtucket and teach some kids to read. Then lunch and civ. Thennn I have classroom management from 5:15-6:30. Sooo I don't like Tuesdays that much.
But things have been going well overall. Colleen, Kateri, and I are rooming together and our room is sooo nice. We have the beds unbunked and there is still tons of room in here. Our entire wall is covered in posters which include, Dave Matthews, Rolling Stones, Johnny Depp, Seth Cohen, John Lennon, Jack Johnson, etc...it's cool needless to say :) Classes are going well, I like them all even though they require a lot of work...more that last year I feel. I missed seeing all my friends and just people that I used to see around all the time last year. This environment is so fun and chill. It's so different being a sophomore. Good different. I'm just more accustomed to everything, it's like second nature, and you know so many more people and feel more comfortable overall. I met a lot of new people too! A lot of Greeks which makes me excited! We are trying to start an Orthodox group slash Greek club, as geeky as that sounds.
This past weekend was a good first weekend back. Except for Friday and Saturday Kateri was sick so she had to stay back in the dorm. Friday we had dinner at Slavin then just hung out with people and watched a movie. We had a fun walk around campus where I found a dollar outside Fennell...yusss. On Saturday Colleen, Dan, Nick, Ian, Nicole, Athena, and I went to the Greek Festival in Cranston where my dad is the priest. We had some AWESOME food and Greek danced, etc. Good times were had by all. Now I am hungry and I need to pull myself together for class.
