Captive Hearts
Well, servers are curerntly having their daily hissy-fit thanks to a bunch of DDoS'ing morons, so let's go to the update shall we?
Last night the good folks of TMO paid a visit up to Sky in hopes of pimping out a few more of our members with l33t gears, and also to check out several of our newest applicants to the shell (a big round of /welcome to Boarder and Issac). While waiting for the others to arrive, a small group of us managed to push down Despot, and also made an attempt on Faust. Sadly, our Faust effort was complicated by several factors which eventually lead to a wipe. Not being the ones to quit so easilly, we pulled ourselves back together and paid our good friend Byakko a visit.
No offense Byakko, but for a great cat that talks how we're so insignificant in his eyes, your rather easy to push down. BTW: Thanks for all the generous drops this evening, we really do appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Congrats to Milikai on the Haidate. =)
Next up, I was hoping to get another crack at Genbu this night (been trying for a while now to get my Aqu. Abj: Hands for Zenith Mitts), but this night, we had something bigger in mind. A small piece of unfinished business back from my CuteCuteSky days...
Kirin
Au contrair Misure Kirin... I think at 22 people strong (and a lot of taru to go with it), we're more than ready for your little challenge. So let's get this party started shall we? ^_~
Master of the Shijin? Really, then why is it your calling for help from your other god buddies... like Mr. Genbu here?
And Suzaku here?
And Seiryu and Byakko... And you call yourself the "Master of the Shijin"? Please, next time learn to fight your own wars, then we'll talk...
There we go, that's much better. Now the fight is on for real... =)
At this point, the fight with Kirin is going well. A few errant deaths here and there, myself included. I dunno how, but Kirin decided to toss a massive Stonega IV directly onto me after I hit him with a reasonable 500 damage Aero IV. Thankfully I got well clear of the others, but having a spell deal 1400 damage (through blink and stoneskin), something's not right about that. And what's this with kirin throwing spells that are even higher level than what we have avalible? No fair... I want those powerful magics for myself. ^^;
While resting, Kirin pulled out his own 2-hour ability, Astral Flow and brought a good majority of the alliance into the orange and red. I was thankfully outside the battle at that point, resting up after the stonega IV I got smacked down with. Some quick healing from numerous mages and we were all right back at it, and except for Kirin still having bout 43% health left, the fight was all but won at this point.
Drops were decent, we managed Kirin's Pole (congrats to Starfox), Orh. Ingot, and W.Abj: Legs (not sure who got these), but more importantly for those of us that had just defeated the master for the first time... this.
Many /congrats across the board to everyone that made this possible. And here's hoping for a few more gods and kings in the near future. =)
