How sweet it is...
- When you've been asked to bear witness to two wonderful friends to stand beside them as they begin their life together
- When you find yourself in the midst of strangers yet treated as if you were family
- When you finally meet someone you've known for years for the first time
- When miraculously two people can instantaneously treat the years they've been apart as completely unimportant
- When someone you never really knew well suddenly becomes such a cool guy
- When all you really need to have fun is time together... and maybe three linked up Nintendo DSes
- When a picture of a moment becomes a memory that will stay with you forever
- When you drive home thinking that heaven has just opened up just for you...
(I could easily continue the list on for quite some way, but being this my tribute to the weekend, well... I'll stop my list there.)
And that singular thought makes all the headaches and hassles, all the hardships and difficulties, the dark times, the trials, the tribulations, and the stress suddenly disappear... only to be left with the notion that everything in this crazy life is worth living for... just because of that beautiful, single moment in time.
How sweet it is.
