Signing session report (2011.09.04) 戒・れいた・葵

Hello everyone!
Today I'll bring you the long promised signing session report! ヽ(●′▽‵●)ノ
I'm really not good at writing these things (which is why I usually don't), but I thought that even if it's not all that interesting to other people, it's a nice memory for me and something I can look back at in a couple of years and be happy for writing down as I tend to forget details of things after a while.

Now, me going to this signing session was actually a bit of a fluke... I knew they were holding signing sessions, but I hadn't really thought that much into it since I more or less took it for granted that I couldn't go. Then, on the night before (or the night before that, I can't really remember) the two last signing sessions they were doing, I saw rawkstarr23 tweeting that she'd gotten another ticket and that they were in the RTU singles. I don't usually unwrap my CDs because I'm afraid of the covers taking damage, but this time I took the channce. And in one of my singles, there was a ticket.
I was exctatic. But I was also really nervous. I didn't want to go alone, and was actually considering not going, but the lovely Starr tweeted at me and asked if I wanted to go with her and her friend. I'm still so grateful ♥

The signing session was on September 4th. They were holding two in Tokyo at the same time (Reita, Aoi and Kai at one place and Ruki and Uruha at another, it was secret who would be where), one in Roppongi and one in Shinagawa. We decided to meet in Roppongi. Starr would be going to both of them anyway since she had two tickets (lucky!). We met up fairly early and got lost lol but we managed to find the place in the end.

We were not allowed to give the members presents or have anything other than REMEMBER THE URGE signed, but to be honest I really couldn't care less even though I'd like them to sign my TOUR FONAL pamphlet from Tokyo Dome sometime lmfao I was just so happy to get this chance.

We were some of the last people that arrived (but I think they were doing the signing for a while?) so we were quite far back in the queue indoors, but I don't think there were more than 100 people there. (But there were some people waiting outside too.) They were looping the RTU single and people looked really nervous (fixing their hair, checking their make-up etc)

I think we waited inside for about 40 minutes or so before Kai, Reita and Aoi came on stage to some applause, then we started slowly moving towards the stage. I felt so nervous I thought I was going to pass out lol. but it didn't feel like it was actually them.
We saw a couple of girls crying when they walked off stage, so we were like 'omg I hope I won't cry' to eachother wwww (´ω`;)

When we got to the stage we have to give our tickets to a staff member before climbing the stairs up to the stage. I was first (of my group w) but I don't think I would've been any less nervous if I was last tbh.
I think they were already a bit tired since they'd been writing autographs for so many hours (remember that they had already done some other signing sessions in other cities, however other days).

Kai was first. He was still looking down after signing the last CD when I walked up to him, and when he looked up he looked kinda surprised for a split second, and then he smiled and said "good day". (I was originally planning on saying something like 'thank you for doing this', but I was too nervous, so I just kept to 'good day' and 'thank you' ww)

He looks really handsome up-close. I was really lucky to get to see him in onw of my favourite Kai outfits too! I really like his hair in this look, I think it really suits him. He was generally just really sweet and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there (even though he must've been exhausted).

When he'd finished signing the CD, he passed it on to Reita. I've been wanting to meet him for years, so actually having it come true felt so surreal. I tend to lower my voice a lot when I'm nervous so my 'konnichiwa' came out really low and I was unsure he'd heard it, but then he looked up, smiled at me and said it back XD
He looked up after he'd signed it too (his handwriting is so neat and I love his signature aaaaaa it was fun watching him write ;__;).

Then it was Aoi's turn. He actually didn't look up or say anything at first, but he took his good time to write his signature - especially the heart (even though his signature is the simplest XD). He looked up when he handed it to me, and smiled a little. Ah, Aoi-san (〃∇〃)

I almost stumbled off stage www, and I was shaking when I got out of the room.
They all seemed like such nice guys, and I really wish I'd had the chance to meet Ruki and Uruha too, but Reita was the most important to me (so I was lucky he was at Roppongi ww)

It still feels like I didn't really meet them, like it was just something I dreamed or something.
