Rufus-san, you do not remember me, and Shu-san - you may only recall that we've spoken a time or two. Therefore, allow me to introduce myself: My name is Fuuchouin Kazuki, and I used to be employed by ShinRa, directly beneath Rufus-san and Larxene themselves.
I was an informant. A spy, if you will. While my employment itself was not a secret, the type of work I did was not discussed openly, and kept within just a few select individuals. I have a rather... unique way of being able to perform these duties, and am able to listen in and eavesdrop on any given location from up to a mile or so away. Using this manner, I've obtained a good deal of notes on many people in Purgatorium, though I suppose the ones of most interest to you would be Albert Wesker and Professor Hojo. Beyond that, I am a more than capable fighter, and I know this city inside and out given the length of time that I've been here.
At any rate, allow me to cut to the chase. I will be working for Zack Fair and his SOLDIER unit doing the same type of work. (This is information I would like to keep just between us, if you would.) However, I feel it vital that the three companies work together when necessary. At this moment in time, it seems that ShuRa contains the largest number of employees, including those in the science department. ShinRa has the Turks, and SOLDIER... well, we offer a very impressive dose of the strength needed to deal with some of the threats to this city. In my humble opinion, cooperation would be extremely important.
Thus, I'm merely offering my services to the two of you should you have need to call upon them. I'm not saying you will; perhaps you have your own individuals excelling at such tasks. The offer is on the table, none the less. I would be happy to share any information I acquire on various people or places (for a price, of course; this would be contract work).
