So, here are my classes next semester:
715 - Understanding Research in Education
All I can say is, this class better be easy. It SOUNDS easy but certain events have caused me to be suspicious. *shifty eyes* Taught by someone I do not know.
830 - Individual and Group Assessment
I feel slightly queasy about the course material, but the professor is AWSOME. Sheer awsome. Taught by Dr. L.
875 - Cross-Cultural Counseling
Taught by Dr. K, who is an awsome lady. Should be a fun, easy, interesting class. Looking forward to this one the most.
880 - Legal, Ethical, and Professional Issues
Well, this will be a dry class. But that's okay, there should be interesting parts too. Taught by Dr. M, someone I've only met at orientation. She seems swell.
890 - Diagnosis and Psychopathology
Should be interesting, this topic is definitely up my alley. Dr. R is cool too.
So, I had this nice little plan figured out. My glorious 2-year plan. 15 hours this semester, 16 in spring, 15 next fall (starting thesis and practicum), and then finish the last bit of my thesis and take my comps in spring of '08. No summer classes, so I could spend that time in Michigan. Now, everything is basically a prerequisite to practicum and I can only take 2 classes concurrently with practicum. So I can't spread things out any more evenly.
But that plan WORKED, damnit. Until now.
They decided to add another required class (890), which will be announced in a few weeks. That is SO wrong. You can't add a requirement to students who have already been admitted! So now I'm going to take stats this summer. La dee DAH.
BLAH.
