New adds as of November '09
So here are some new adds, I forgot to take pics of a few things I have received recently, but I'll try to get them next time... anyway, here we go!
Chibimoon doll, I bought her mostly for her outfit, I know it doesn't belong to this particular doll but I liked it haha... and a SM curtain, I thought it was more rectangular/squarish shaped, but it's more long and thin than I thought, but I still like it. not sure if I'll actually use it for sth or store it away for safekeeping...
Sailor Jupiter lightup figure. She doesn't work, but I plan to look at her and figure out what might be wrong. She is in excellent condition despite not working. Her box is nice, too.
I forgot what the seller called this, but it's something like Makoto's school ID book... it has a few pages of text *if you want to see them they're in my collection album, the link will be at the end* I didn't really know what I was bidding on or if it was official, but I thought it looked interesting and moderately priced, and I don't recall ever seeing one before, so I got it...
5 of the Festival plush... the ending bid was 800 yen on this, I was really surprised!!! I like them quite a bit... sorry about Mamoru's head though... the tape is sealed on his box so I didn't want to risk opening it to turn his head haha... idk if the tape is the original stuff, I just didn't feel like potentially marring the cardboard/paper box... *more pics in collection album*
An exciting yet disappointing item... I won it for a mere $48 or so, but shipping cost me $30 *from Spain* which I didn't know until after winning, as they had a shipment price in the description, but I guess it wasn't for the US... which was fine, I thought it was a steal at $78, but I didn't quite realize it was THIS beat up... the funky colors on the top part are b/c someone tried to "repair" the damage buy painting it... which I somehwat understand... but then they might as well have painted over all of it so it didn't look so shabby ^^; Also, I can't check to see if it works *they said it did* b/c there;s no battery! T_T Not a huge deal, but it is some special battery... so I'll have to look for one... I'm still somewhat happy to have it, but a bit disappointed... I would have rather have paid a bit more for a better one I think... also, *woe is me* when I was trying to carefully put it back in the package I didn't realize the plastic ws coming loose at the top, the white insert plastic caught it and now I have a tear in the clear plastic there near the corner *more disappointment* If I could at least have been able to see and hear it do what it's supposed to I'd probably be a LOT less disappointed... but nonetheless I'm ok with it... just wish I could hear it work... *plenty more pictures and a scan of the instructions in the collection album linked at the end*
Mercury and Mars lifesize wall scrolls, I already have Moon, so now I'm only missing Venus and Jupiter, who I did bid on but they went too high for me at the time, especially Venus...
I spent a little more on these than I wanted after fees and such, but I am extremely happy with them... they are exceptionally clean, and even still have the Toei sticker on them, along with the scroll ends. They look like brand new!!! I think my Moon one is sort of faded yellow compared to these, but I'm not sure... got these both on Y!J.
Lastly, not exactly an SM item, but I bought it kind of like it was one...
A Moon Phase Pocket Watch!!! Sadly, I paid more for it than I wanted, or well... I discovered I did after receiving it... I don't mind that it's not running, since I'm sure it needs a new battery, that's all, BUT I thought the Moon Phase part moved, which the item description didn't say that it does not... it's basically just a sticker... T_T HOWEVER, I still find it gorgeous, and probably the closest real pocket watch I've seen to Mamoru's... because I've been searching about a month now lol... mostly out of curiousity... but if you go looking you will realize most do not have a Moon phase area this large, it is usually much smaller, also, Mamoru's doesn't have a click open face, and this one doesn't either! ^_^ The only thing that is missing is the star points hehe... I hope to get a battery for it soon. :)

Oh, also, if anyone knows where I might be able to find the SM Christmas tree at a reasonable price *or a few other SM Christmas items like the CDs and some plush* please let me know!!! I'm searching for my "Christmas gift to myself since usually I don't get things I really want" ^^;
OR I know it's not SM, but something like the Corpse Bride or Nightmare Before Christmas large sized dolls that are basically replicas of the ones used in producing the film *they even have real cloth* PLEASE let me know, I'm looking at less than $50 per doll, and mostly I REALLY want Emily the Corpse Bride right now... *I think she is sth like 17" tall* I believe the particular ones I'm looking for are Jun Planning dolls. Does not have to have the box...
