Another gift post

Gen is out and about, if still relying very lightly on a cane. He doesn't have large gifts, but he's still got a little something. For Edgar, Weena, Lynette, and Stephen Black. Though he of course would not mind any new acquaintences on Christmas day.

In her language, as best he can, he says, "Happy winter, Weena. A gift." And he presents her with a box wrapped in shiny paper.

"Winter gift?" she enquires, tilting her head and rubbing the shiny paper happily.

[kotoba_tadashii]

He nods. "Yes. Open."

[pretty_weena]

So she goes, with exquisite, and perhaps unexpected, care, making sure the paper doesn't tear and can be tucked away into her pockets.

Once she opens the box, inside is a small, delicate music box. He reaches, carefully, and says "Can I teach?"

"Teach Weena!"

[kotoba_tadashii]

And so, careful to go slow, he winds the key on the side, one, two, three times. He lets it go, and the small box begins to play Fur Elise.

Weena gasps with delight and holds it close to her eyes, then her ears, one after the other, making noises of utterly thrilled in the most golden words of her language.

He grins to see her so happy.

She strokes the box and hums along to the music and overall displays the utmost in glee.
