the dancing age'd Korean

yet another reason why i want to be a 65 year old korean fencing coach:

after one lengthy private lesson and well into the second of the day, the fencing student is out of breath and stretching. What does our great Korean Olympian and coach start doing? he begins to do a little footwork warm up of his own. that's right, well into his 80'th minute or so of near constant physical work and more mental work than his fencers have been doing (being an instructor is hard enough, but try giving your first private lesson, which i did recently, yay--it hurts your brain and your bones), he finally feels like he's loosened up and ready to go.

this is definitely the first time i've seen him dance, but not the first time i've seen him hit that groove point after an hour or so. and woe be to the fencers who come under his blade at that time. talk about brutal. i absolutely can not wait to be over 50 now!!!! who ever heard of exercise making a person want to be old!??!?! and i do love how i'll always have his lexicon: only use wrissle, arm is up, make more fast, slow.....fester, make far, is like throwing leeel stone. But of course, the best: not like dat! like dees (usually followed with a painful jab from his blunted metal tip).
