A Memory Of A Special Happiness ( Chapter Seven )
‘This time I can’t help anymore but to love you’ Kota was reminiscing while looking at the dark sky. The feeling of Hikaru’s lips is not leaving him yet. How he wish he could say the truth about everything although he doesn’t know how it will end. He’s so scared.
Suddenly, he felt a pain inside him making his whole body shake. Everything was turning around again. He knew that this was going to come again. Kota stood up in slow motion still holding his head as he reached for his medicine on the top of his cabinet.
He gulped up one. Kota’s body after he drank his medicine became a little okay. He was panting, now holding his chest. It started again. He knows that one of these days he will wake up again in a hospital.
“Yabu-kun.” A knock on the door was heard. But for Yabu it’s called “disturbance”.
He stood up opening the door.
“What?!”
“A report..” his bodyguard simply stated.
Kota waited for the other one to talk while crossing his hands.
“Your father went out of the country and----“
“That’s not anything special or surprising for me, my dear bodyguard..” a sarcastic tone came up from Kota.
Fuma frowned at him but in the end he just sighed in stress.
“Kota..Kota..Kota!” a whispering voice stuttered the two of them and when they looked at the other direction, they became even more surprised.
“Eh?! Dai-chan?!” Why-“ Kota hollered not believing what he is seeing as well as Fuma who can’t seem to move on his spot.
“Shut up!! It’s a long story…” Daiki frowned at them because of their expressions while trying hard not to wake up the guy which arms are on his shoulders.
The small guy quickly entered the room of Kota but still Fuma’s jaws are dropped and Kota just chuckled.
When Daiki already putted the guy on the bed he sighed then looked at Kota with tired and irritated eyes.
“Ne Dai-chan, why is your “mortal enemy” here?” Kota teased him while smiling.
Fuma just looked left to right.
Daiki rolled his eyes. “I don’t have any choice..”
Kota nodded but he did obviously not believe the smaller guy.
“That’s not like you Dai-chan…” he added while pouting.
“HAH?!!”
“You will never help a guy that you just met or perhaps you would never say such an excuse like, “I have no other choice!!!” because you’re a rude person especially to your enemies…” Kota informed him like he already knows everything.
Daiki just realized it now. He was right, why didn’t he just left that Takaki on the bar? His face slightly turned red.
“Ah! You’re blushing…” Kota announced while pointing at the other’s cute cheeks.
Daiki didn’t heard Kota as he decided to pull Takaki out of the bed then put him again inside the car although Kota didn’t let him.
“Eh, W-What are you doing Dai?” Kota was stuttered with Daiki’s sudden actions but the other one wasn’t looking at him.
“I’m going to put him again on the bar, and I will left him there..” the other announced not looking at Kota although he looked so serious
‘Kawaii… He’s so obvious.’ Kota declared mentally as he forced out a smile.
“Dai-chan, you don’t need to do that, okay?” Kota smiled at him but it still looks like a fake smile.
“But you said that I’m not the one who helps a stranger and I’m not the one who has no other choices because I always have choices... Then I decided to just put him there again like nothing happened because I’m rude, I don’t help a kind of person like him especially he’s my enemy. Why should I do that? I’m not dumb and I’m not like that. This is weird. He’s an idiot who doesn’t think of things logically, he’s inconsiderate, he’s head is full of air, he doesn’t think of others feelings, he’s definitely dumb and I HATE HIM!!” Daiki hollered not pausing while saying those things that caused him to pant.
“So he’s really special to you that you already knew many things about him in just a little time” Fuma stated unconsciously as he looked at Daiki.
Daiki looked at him then raised his eyebrows with a really bothered face.
Kota laughed now really, really hard. He patted his bodyguards back which made Fuma stuttered on his spot.
“That’s really something!” Kota continued to laugh still tapping Fuma’s back.
Fuma looked at Daiki with slightly scared eyes.
“It’s okay Dai-chan! It’s okay!” Kota announced.
Daiki frowned.
“Let’s put him now in the bed now okay?” Kota tried to convince Daiki while smiling.
Silence.
“Okay! Silence means yes!” Yabu created an okay sign with his fingers as he grabbed Takaki to the bed.
Daiki didn’t respond at all as he stormed out of the room.
Yabu just sighed but Fuma is still dumbfounded.
“I guess I’ll sleep on the sofa for now..” The taller guy stated.
“Eh??” Fuma’s eyes widened.
“This is for Dai-chan..” Kota smiled. That was the first time he smiled truthfully to Fuma. Fuma smiled too, he thought that Kota was not that bad.
Kota fetched some pillows on his bed as he prepared them for sleep.
“Sleep now, too, Fuma-chan!” Kota turned around, facing the wall.
Finally, Fuma went out of the room then smiled.

The next day, when the sun rays already reached his eyes, he rubbed it unconsciously as he stretched his arms.
Takaki opened his eyes slowly then he noticed that the room is really different from before.
“What’s happening?” Takaki asked half-asleep.
He looked around him and finally realized that this is not his room.
He blinked many times.
“Where the hell am I?” Takaki was confused because he can’t remember anything. All he knows is he was in a bar and then he heard a voice that made him happy although when he tried to remember the person who owns the voice he just can’t remember anything.
Takaki jumped on his spot when someone entered the room.
“Yabu Kota?”
“Oh! Good morning. You’re already awake, here breakfast.” Kota smiled.
It’s Yabu Kota. He analyzed everything. So where does Yabu live? He lives with? Daiki Arioka then that means…Is Daiki here?
Something inside Takaki’s mind popped out, a very embarrassing memory. That voice that he heard belongs to Daiki and he kissed the other guy.
‘WHAT?!’ he was so surprised.
His eyes widened while holding his head with both hands.
“What’s the matter Takaki-kun?” Kota seemed to be a little confused.
The guy on the bed looked at him still bothered.
“Oh if I’m right, do you want to ask me about Dai-chan?” Kota guessed.
Takaki nodded many times.
“He’s in the other room..”
Takaki’s jaws dropped.
Kota smiled. “Do you want me to call him?”
The other guy shook his head a million times.
Kota just chuckled. “Well, um, Okay..” he concluded.
“Here eat your breakfast..” Kota handed him the food then Takaki bowed to him. Kota also bowed.
“Um, Yabu-kun…Did Daiki said weird things when he came home?”
“Weird?”
“Yes”
“Nothing weird about it..” Kota looked up while remembering everything.
“That’s good..”
Kota smiled teasingly. “Did something happened between both of you?”
Takaki shook his head many times again.
‘They’re both so obvious..’ Kota said inside his mind.
“Tell me..Just spill the beans..” Kota tried to make him confess about everything but the other won’t say a thing and tat’s the time, Daiki entered the room.
Takaki’s eyes widened as he slowly lay a little again on the bed like he was hiding.
Daiki frowned at him and in the end he rolled his eyes. Kota just smiled.
“Dai-chan you wanted to see Takaki-kun?”
“No!” Daiki was now furious when he considered what happened on the bar. He looked intensely at Takaki.
Takaki was a little scared he didn’t mean to do that.
“I’m sorry..” Takaki surprisingly pleaded.
‘This is exciting.’ Kota announced in his mind.
“Sorry? Tch! For what?” Daiki just rolled his eyes.
Taaki thought that he needed to answer that question.
“For the kiss?” Takaki looked at Daiki, dumbfounded.
“HAH?! K-ki-kiss?????” Kota was the first to react.
“Baka!!!!!” Daiki hollered.
The small guy ran out of the room. Kota smiled at Takaki then immediately followed Daiki.
“What did I done wrong?” Takaki said confused.

“Oi! Dai-chan!”
Daiki didn’t look at him. He was really mad.
“Dai-chan, don’t do that again.. He didn’t mean it right..”
Kota was just ignored.
“Okay, let’s say sorry to him now..” Kota tried to convince the other.
“It was all your fault.. If I didn’t look for you yesterday then I could have not met him…” Daiki finally answered.
“Where are you that time?” Daiki added.
“Where?” he repeated.
“I’m with Hikaru…”
“Where are they?” Takaki tried to search for Yabu especially Daiki.
“You kissed Hikaru?!!!?” he heard a conversation and that voice was really familiar.
Takaki run behind the wall as he peeked at the people who were conversing. It’s Kota and Daiki.
Kota didn’t answered the question of Daiki.
“Why the hell did you do that? Don’t tell me because you just like it?”
“No..”
“Then why?”
“I love him.”
“You can’t be serious..”
“Yes I am..”
“I thought you want to forget him?”
“I can’t” Kota answered with truthful eyes.
‘HAH? What’s this? Yabu’s in love with Hikaru?? What the heck?!’ Takaki complained mentally.
“I want to tell him the truth. I want to tell him everything. I’m just afraid.” Kota now stated in a serious tone.
Daiki just smiled although it feels a little sad.
“Then tell him.. I know he will accept it..”
“That’s not the point Dai-chan..”
“Then what?” the smaller guy asked.
“What if he knows about my father? And I think my father’s planning something, something really bad. I don’t want him to feel any pain. I’ll die for him..”
Daiki jut chuckled. “You’re also living for him..”
“I don’t know.. If I will tell him that I am his childhood friend before everything will be okay but the future will not be..” Kota concluded.
“You don’t know everything Kota… Secrets won’t remain as secrets forever” Daiki advised him.
Takaki heard everything. So Hikaru’s childhood friend was Kota not Inoo? Kota loves Hikaru but Hikaru loves Inoo for he knows that Inoo is his childhood friend. What would happen if Hikaru will find out that he’s greatest enemy is the one who was supposed to be his lover now, due to some mistakes. Will Hikaru feel the same way towards Kota? And what was Kota talking about his father? Takaki has many questions.
