Lemon-lime cream argyle Jell-O!

Apr 10, 2009 20:52

The thought passed through my head at work that I had never before seen an argyle Jell-O (which, comparatively, isn't really all that random of a thought), so I decided to make it. The lemon-lime isn't new, neither is the cream Jell-O part. We normally do both of those all the time. It is the first time we've done lemon-lime cream, but that's just because we rarely keep lemon in stock and rarely have half a package of lime Jell-O mix sitting around while both lemon Jell-O mix and whipped cream are in stock. Also, I was dying Easter eggs for the weekend and figured I might as well do the argyle while I had the food dyes out.

It was fun! XD

Anyway, I don't really do "recipes". I just throw the ingredients together, eyeballing it the whole way. But if you really want to know how to make cream Jell-O, I'll give you general ratios and suggested amounts. Also, if you want to try the variations Cherry Chocolate Cream Jell-O or Cream Jell-O Fluff Dessert (also known as: OH GOD, THE WHIPPED CREAM!), I can pass those along, too. Heck, if you're interested in some salad, pasta salad recipes or broccoli salad recipes, I could send those too. Just remember, I have to make this stuff in bulk, so I can't give you exact ingredient amounts.
