We're four boys in curdoroys...

Thank god Miss Barbara next door (she's 82) has been deaf since the Blitz and she can't hear a thing; I've been listening to Belle & Sebastian's "This Is Just a Modern Rock Song" for three days on a loop. My other neighbours (Mr Stompy above, Miss Whoever below, The Swedish Brigade somewhere in the environs) must hate me by now but I DON'T GIVE A TOSS! I just loooooove this song, it gives me goosebumps and is the closest I've ever gotten to the effect drugs have on you (methinks; I've never taken drugs - enzyme deficiency, Jewish genes, long story - so I don't know what taking drugs is like, really)...

I <3 Belle & Sebastian. When I die I wanna turn into one of their songs, perhaps "Take Me Away From Here, I'm Dying".

It's Bogdan weather at the moment. Rain, wind, clouds swooshing across the skies like jet planes - and yesterday, late afternoon, it was already dark, I was walking up Greek Street towards Soho Square and it was... raining leaves (it was raining hard at the same time), hundreds of leaves being swept away from this huge, 600ft-tall tree in Soho Square, the leaves blown towards Soho and you could hear them as they hit, softly, with a hollow crunchy thud, the pavements and concrete roads.

Oh and it was lovely. I stood there and look at this thick rain of leaves in awe.

Beirut concert this Saturday! Yay! Seeing PB on Sunday! Yay! :)
