Two down, two to go.

I managed to return the two poetry essays in time. I ended up analysing Seamus Heaney's "Digging" and Sylvia Plath's "Daddy" from the perspective of the poem's speaker and the poem's situational factors. The analyses were ok although the concepts are rather hard to point out from the texts. It should be interesting to get feedback from the teacher later on.

Now I'll just have to get the novel essay and the short story done for other classes, and I can rest easy. The Tutuola essay should be fun as I'll analyse it from the perspective of space and Julia Kristeva's concept of women's time.

I also wonder if my teacher will freak out once I return my postmodern short story. There's just something about a William S. Burroughs -esque way of writing that appeals to me even if the guy's writing was batshit crazy at times. A perfect fit for a postmodern work, I say.

Yours,
Mikko
