It's been so long....
A coupla days ago, i completed a year of being Mrs. Hubert Shu. It is no accomplishment, it just seems something that was meant to happen, eventually. and yet, on some levels it makes me go... WOW!
Its been a year that i have managed to juggle 2 families, a whole set of new relatives and friends, and boy! it seems more than an accomplishment.
It is not easy to wake up in someone else's house and be prepared for their kind-a-mornings! wherein, they do things they want to do, they way they are used to for years and you have to fit in...
but somehow, it is not as tough as it seemed initially. you tend to not feel as awkward as you think you'd... and eventually, you see yourself turning around and telling your father-in-law, that your next dance will be with him!
just one year, that;s all it takes for this....
a friend of mine is getting married tomo, i am most happy for her even as i sit so far away, but the fact remains that she's in my thoughts n i am praying for her every moment. a journey i took upon just last year and here, she'd be doing the same... so want to reach out and hug her!
