back to Manila
ahh... home is the best place in the world! i missed my room so much!
as i've said, bangkok was fun. we ate lots of durian everyday, aside from other thai foods. heavy rain at the airport. our luggage increased by around 50 kilograms, I think. my mom brought back kilos of sambel pecel and sambel gado-gado (these are 2 kinds of indonesian peanut sauce, eaten with vegetables, tofu, etc). yumm.. :P~
I got a new suitcase in bangkok, hopefully huge enough to carry all my stuff to mudd.
Oh.. In Jakarta, I went to Kinokuniya, a japanese chain bookstore. it used to be pretty small, but it's enlarged now. God, it has more books than any bookstore in the manila -- i think. well.. at least it had all the books I wanted to buy.
I bought The Hitchhiker's Guide -- 4 titles in a book, and a book on Chaos. I was really hyper since I couldnt find any chaos book here in manila.
I also found The Elegant Universe -- but I didn't buy it. i've read it anyway, plus it's pretty expensive and i've bought two books above. I almost got Mrs. Dalloway, but also didnt buy it since i have more than 2 unread books that i want to finish before going to mudd.
only ONE WEEK is left before I'm leaving!! i think i'm going to miss manila.
