Eeeeee!

The redingote? As good as done.

The only thing left is to sew the three decorative buttons down, and I want to try it on before I do that. The other thing that I might do, but probably not, is a white ruffly cuff. I say probably not because once I put the taffeta bands on the cuffs, I could no longer take it off without turning the sleeves inside out, which just means I'd end up ripping the cuffs off by accident.

The sleeves were made to look good without a habit shirt beneath. I plan on a sheer striped fichu below. I think I need to wear a short sleeved Regency shift below. Elbow length sleeves with a little fullness are just annoying below long sleeves, plus I think a little too tight. Trying the shift below fit, but was tighter than I wanted it.

I'm rather an idiot for working so much tonight, especially since I took in the lower half of the sleeves a bit, but it feels so good to essentially be done!
