Malaysia/Singapore
I'm surprised it took this long for me to start missing Malaysia. In truth I really like the place, though I never really admitted it openly previously. These YouTube videos (about Singapore but close enough given the subject matter, thanks for the links Sandy!) were a sharp reminder - their use of English/Manglish:

In this one in particular the 'okaaaaaay' at the end of a statement, sounds patronising to us Westerners but I don't think it's intended like that.

I recognise quite a few terms from this too.
I don't know, it's all very warm and cosy sounding, I'm sure most Westeners find it cute/quaint sounding, like how they feel about Japanese speaking English... different thing but we don't realise the difference.
Sigh... if only Msia had a design industry -_-
