Currently in Vermont staying at my grandfather's house. Arrived from Rhode Island (visiting L's extended family) this afternoon. Getting married in a few days! Met my brother's wife's mother this evening; she's here from Kyrgyzstan - first trip on an airplane and all. Lots of excitement surrounding wedding-related activities.
Landmark history today: Prop 8 was overturned at the state level in CA. Shiny and all. Hopefully a national battle is gearing up. I have to say I'm really excited; I think marriage equality is in the making on a large scale in this country, even though it's not quite there yet.
And, because I don't have much to say, here's a picture I took in Rhode Island (in Galilee, off of Great Island). Sunset = beautiful.
